East is an amazing school! The principal knows all 500 kids by name and is very visible to parents and students. My daughter loves going to school each day and I've been very impressed with the gains she has made. The staff does a great job of creating a safe, comfortable environment for the kids. I am very pleased with this school and wouldn't change a thing.
My son is in his last year at East. It has been a wonderful experience. The teachers and other staff members have been very helpful, positive and gone beyond the call of duties every year he has attended East. It is because of East and the Ozark School Dist that I will contiunue to live in Ozark.
We cannot say enough nice things about East Elementary School. It was our Kindergartener's first year and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The staff and our teacher Mrs. Klein were wonderful! If your a first time family at East then we say worry no more because your children will be in the most remarkable learning enviroment they could have! Barnicas'
Ozark East is a tremendous school where teachers, students and families maximize the learning for the children. There are opportunities for involvement through PTA, classroom volunteers, winter carnival, fall and spring book fairs, playground fundraising, awareness day, red ribbon week, and grade level projects. Students have opportunities to be involved in sign language club, recorder club, campus union board and more! It is a very welcoming school with high quality staff!
My daughter transfered this year from the North elementary and we are extremly impressed with the principal and staff. They really go the extra mile to help the kids learn and have fun. It's also very nice to see the principal waiting outside the front door each morning greeting all the kids as they come in. The third week of school this year my daughter recieved a 'caught being good' award. This is an award that all kids can easily obtain. If any of the staff see or hears a student doing good for another they can report it to the office. They recieve a certificate, many coupons, pencils, eracers and such. I could go on and on, Thanks East Elementary!!
