We transferred here from another district about 1-1/2 years ago. I have 2 children in this district. My daughter is in the elementary. Although I have been happy with the teachers, I have been very frustrated with the administration and policies. I have 2 very bright straight A students. They are both involved in music and sports, as well as several other activities. They lost my son'r transcript from his previous school, preventing him from being in honor classes and it also prevented him from registering for national Jr Honor Society. They also require parents pay for everything! This is a horrible school!

Principal and counselors do not have students best interest at heart. The Character Education Program is a farce and a tool the principal/counselor uses to get Kudos for themselves. Bullying is an issue but mainly among administrative personnel. Teachers do a wonderful job and take their jobs seriously, but fear fighting for student's rights.

We have travel all over the world and my children have been to five different schools, I have found Perryville MO being the worse school they have ever attend. Not only are there problems with the other students, but there have been problems with the teachers as well. I found this area the most un friendest state ever! The teachers are not skilled at all, when helping children with a learning problem, mostly in the reading field. I have been very disappointed with a lot of school programs and system, but this is the worst I have seen. I have found that the teachers are very rude to the students, maybe it is just mine, because they are out of state and do not fit in here. I don't know, As soon as I can get mine out of this state I will be doing so. Thank you.
