What a great school! My daughter is currently in fourth grade and this has been her best year yet! The teachers here really care and love kids. She is receiving a quality education and is having fun!

I recently moved into the Prairie Home school district. There are many exciting things going on in the elementary school. I am impressed with the quality of these teachers. These teachers are very dedicated and focused on getting the best possible performance from their students. A Reading First grant has really benefited the students by improving reading skills. The implementation of Everyday Math should help math skills. Students have opportunities to participate in the arts and sports. The art teacher even had some of the lower elementary students in an art show in Columbia. As for parent involvement, there are many opportunities, but surprisingly few parents take advantage of them. Unfortunately, I think that is not unique to this school. Turnout for PTO and other parent opportunities tends to be low. However, the parents who do participate are very involved parents. Overall, I am very glad my family made the move to Prairie
