Raymore-Peculiar East Middle School

I was disappointed with the lack of flexibility and unreasonableness of the administration when we approached them with assistance with our child. They showed a disregard for the individual student; allowing no exceptions to the rules despite all logical arguments otherwise

This is my second year teaching at Ray-Pec Middle School. I student taught here in the fall of 05-06 school year, then taught at Blue Springs and returned here as soon as I could. I have never been happier at a 'job' as I am here. I have a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for my admistration. I learn so much from my co-workers and my team mates. I enjoy the community of kids and parents that I am able to interact with every day. Our superintendant knows our names, what we teach, and is often seen visiting the buildings to show his support and appreciate for what we strive to do daily---make middle school a happy, safe and educational place for our kids. I love coming to work and can't really imagine myself teaching anywhere else.

hey im a student at ray pec middle scool and i love this school. ever since i moved here in fith grade i felt ahhmazing. i had so many oppurtunities. i finally got better teachers and class mates and even cool new things to try like theatre track choir football and many other fun activities. i love this school, district, and even the lovely show-me-state, Missouri

Some people say bad things about this school, but it is because they have not been to other schools. If you friend have told me lots about thier schools and I relize the priveledge that I get to go to this school everyday. The teachers are fair and they have a good sense of humor as long as you are doing what you are told. In this school, I have found that if you give respect, then you recieve respect.

I am a student that has been attending this school and the Raymore Peculiar Middle School is a great school with few flaws. even though it may have few flaws i think they are pretty big. first of all we have seperate pods that we are not allowed to visit. as students and teenagers we need to communicate and socialize and when they cut off most of that from us we tend to act up in class and teachers wonder why. another thing is they seperate us in lunch. In lunch. since we dont have recess lunch is kind of our recess and when we cant even cross the other side of the cafeteria without getting in trouble it tends to lead to more acting up. One last thing is the teachers. Some teachers are one of a kind and just plain amazing. others just make you double take and wonder

I love this school! All of the teachers are so nice and helpful. They will help you when ever you get stuck and wont get annoyed. They are all fun going and everything. I would never like to be at a diffrent school. I love it so!

I prefer RPMS because the teachers are easy to get along with, and they have a good balance of both academics and sports programs. Lots of people go to our building, but the more the merrier...even if the more merrier means the more crowded. I like the teachers because the teachers are very nice...most of the time....and they will explain anything to help you out in order for you to suceed.

This school is definitely the best i have ever gone to in my life so far. There are some rules which the teachers are, in my opinion, a little too strict on. I find the 'school experience' very enjoyable at this school for two main reasons: 1. The teachers, subjects, and techniques used for learning are very effective and make learning easy and fun. 2. I enjoy being able to spend so much time with my friends while learning in the process. I hope and pray this school is around for a very long time and that students from anywhere and everywhere get to experience the same acceptance and friendships I have throughout the years. :]
