I am a student at Bridle Ridge and I love the teachers and the school. I'm not sure how any parent could not totally think this school is fabulous. If they dont like it, than they are absolutely crazy.

I am not impressed by the teachers, nor the principal.expecially ,they do not make you feel welcome at all.. My child said that the teachers are very mean to her. also when You ask for the teachers to call regarding your child's grade, they never respond. This schools receive funds to deal with kids with IEP's and behavior problems but everytime my child has a problem, they call for me to come pick her up.

Pathetic! Of course parents are pleased. The school pays lip service to parent involvement and communication (which is really up to the teachers, some of which are not inclined in the least). The worst is that the curriculum is so poor. This is directed by the district I'm sure but the teachers and school still have some leaway. We moved from the east coast and all 4 of my children have gone to Bridle Ridge. My challenged child was in an IEP for years. When we moved here he was removed from the IEP program and returned to the mainstream classroom. He received straight 'A's while at Bridle Ridge. Many would think that's great, but I saw the level of work that was required and the difference was ridiculous. If I could afford to I would have put all of my children into private schools before this one.

My child is a student at Bridle Ridge and gets remarkable grades. She has excelled as a student in Bridle Ridge and has fabulous teachers. My child is doing much better in this school than at her former school. Which goes to show what a wonderful school Bridle Ridge Intermediate is.

Very limited parking, no sports feilds, no extracurricular programs to speak of... I have had problems with the school administration not being receptive (primarily the principal), and inconsistencies with their disciplinary procedures. My child tells me that some teachers aren't very receptive to the students needs, refusing to answer questions or clearly explain assignments. My child never has homework and the work that the teachers do allow to go home seems far too rudimentary for 5th and 6th graders. I have consulted other parents, who confirm these issues.

My daughter has been a student here since they opened in the 06-07 school year. I think it's a great school. The teachers make a point of telling the kids good morning when they get to school, and they generally are good teachers and staff. I do agree with the parent who complained about parking, though. Very true

BridleRidge is still a fairly new school. Entering their second year of being opened. My daughter is now in her the 6th grade and loves the teacher interaction and their pricipal. I feel that the parents are very involved and she has many acitivies she can choose to particpate in. Her teachers are awesome and are willing to allow us to be involved. I have nothing negative to say about this new school.
