Having a son & daughter both graduate from LRHS, I was very pleased with the education they received. I was shocked, however, at the little homework they had, especially after being pushed in the MS. I think the teachers feel the parental pressure to allow students to use classroom teaching time to do assignments because the kids are involved in sports or have jobs. Both of my kids said teachers only taught about 10 minutes, then the rest of the (nearly) hour was allowed to do their work. They seldom had homework, except toward the end of the semesters. Overall, though, I feel the teachers do a GREAT job & they certainly prepared both of my children for their college+ experiences. I think Mr. Tucker will be a an excellent principal. Hopefully, he'll stay around a while.
