An amazing school with exceptional teachers and administration. Very welcoming of new students. They have an excellent band program and sports activities. They have skeet shooting and math clubs as well. School is kept very clean and they have a great campus. Very family oriented school with lots of parent involvement. Curriculum is great and proves challenging even for the honors kids. Really a wonderful school with great people in place to make kids successful!
I LOVED this school. I wished i never moved to Arizona, and away from this school. for the most part the people are nice, and i LOVE all my old teachers. I can't choose a favorite teacher!! At this school my grades were always As. and at this school I have aquired life-long friends! I MISS YOU LRMS!!
My family has lived at Rogersville for 17 years. I have had three children of my own and one foster-child pass through the school system. There are many teachers who love their jobs and the children and it really shows. The one thing I love about Rogersville is that from Preschool on up, children learn to accept and even encourage students who are 'different' from themselves. My children who are in school now tell me that, as a rule, kids just aren't made fun of for, say, having developmental problems or handicaps. I know from working at school bullying just is not tolerated. It makes me very proud to be from Rogersville!
Logan-Rogersville MIddle School is friendly for the most part, but I have been very disappointed in it academically. I do not feel that it has properly prepared my son for high school. There is a handful of good teachers-all of whom are underpaid. If you are a self starter you can achieve success in almost any school, but if not, the school has to provide a program which challenges students to excel-or at the least, do their best. That is not the environment at Logan-Rogersville.
My daughter started the 2006-2007 school year out at Rogersville Middle School, 7th Grade. She previously was in the Springfield School District which is much larger. She has made lots of friends at Rogersville and so quickly. The office staff and teachers are also great. Thanks for making her transition so wonderful!
This School is the greatest school on earth.
