Harry S. Truman Elementary School

I feel that my children are getting the very best education they are getting from Truman Elementary. when i moved back to Rolla, I was scared but when i found out that my old biology teacher was the principal, I didnt have a worry in the world. Mr. Edgar you are awesome Sir, keep it up.

My oldest son is enrolled in kindergarten at Truman, and his teacher is Mrs. Sascha Harrison. I can't say enough at how wonderful she is, because she makes every student feel so special.. She is always asking our opinions or answering any questions we may have.. It is such a blessing to have such a great teacher to start the kids first experience with school.. Mr. Edgers, the principal, is wonderful! He has called when our son has received a special award, and is always available to listen to any concerns we have... He really cares about these kids, and if a child misses more than a day of school without a note explaining why he makes it his mission to go to the home to find out what is going on... who does this nowadays... wow!

We are the parents of 3 children who attend the Rolla Public Schools. Overall, our experiences at Truman Elementary have been great! Truman has many very wonderful, caring teachers. Some of our favorite teachers are Mrs. Sascha Harrison, Mrs. Kelly Carter, Mrs. Rosalyn Rumbley, and Mrs. Miles. All of these women do an outstanding job! They are exceptional teachers who go out of their way to make EACH child feel truly special. Truman's principal Mr. John Edgar has our greatest admiration. He actually takes the time to personally call parents to let them know when their child receives a special honor! The faculty and staff at Truman are always smiling and seem to truly enjoy working with the kids and their co-workers. We are very impressed with Truman Elementary School.

My experience as a parent for the past 4 years has been wonderful. The principal is great and all the teachers my daughter has had have been supportive and encouraging.
