My daughter attended this school from 2nd until 5th grade until I pulled her out. My daughter struggled in her studies and talking with her teachers didn't do any good. I asked for her to be tested and was told it would take a year before that could be done once we jumped through all of the other hoops. I found out later that one of her teachers thought she should have been tested, but not one person spoke to me about this. The principal is good with the students but not the parents. She is not an honest person. This school is not military friendly. My husband deployed and my daughter had a very hard time coping. The school counselor was the only helpful person. As for siblings, they are not welcome into the school unless they attend or you get in good with the principal!

This school is the best elementary school in the district. They provide students with engaging activities, while teaching the curriculm. I do not agree with the previous post. The school itself is not in control of the standards, that is the district. This school prepares children for the future much better than others in the district.

It's been my experience that they lack appropriate boundaries, particularly with regards to parent rights. Their academic standards are low and their curriculum does not effectively prepare children to enter college or the workforce successfully.
