As a veteran teacher from Chicago, it has been a delight to work with some of the most professional, caring teachers that I have ever had the honor to teach with. They are concerned about the success of the students in all areas of their lives. They willingly give of their time to tutor our kids without any compensation, other than the success of our students. The parents have become involved through an organization called P.I.E.; what a breath of fresh air! They are an enthusiastic and resourceful support for our school. During my career there have been two principals that I can call Educational Leader ; one was Dr. Leo Dillon of Fenger High School in Chicago, and the other is our principal, Pam Rowe. Under her leadership, our school has been named as a Gold Star School and nominated as a Blue Ribbon School ; not bad for a small, caring school
This is a greart school of dedicated teaches and students. It has been nominated as a Blue Ribbon school for Missouri, One of two middle schools in the state.
I have enjoyed seeing the results of my son and his life and educational choices. he seems to have made many life decisions with the help of this school district. Go Owls
I have had 2 sons attend this school with great results. The staff is professional and caring. Our initial interview with the principal, was the deciding factor in purchasing our house within this district. We had previously enrolled in a private school, and hesitated to consider public schools. for the past four years, however we have been very satisfied.
this is a great school my kid loves it and hopes it stays a small school but some way finds more money
