It's sad & frustrating to see how the school has changed over the years. What was once a solid foundation for children has turned into recurrent employee turnover and obviously unhappy staff. Smiles are few and far between. Parents are encouraged to be involved; however, are made to feel uneasy by staff who seem distruntled much of the time. Furthermore, a focus on MAP testing has stressed the kids out so much (and the teachers), that old fashioned teaching methods that worked, are gone! Get back to the basics. Parents are sought after to be held accountable for their child's behavior & academic success. They should be, but when and where will faculty be held accountable for their lasting effects on our children?
