Since we moved to St Joseph 5 years ago, my son went to Hyde. He did fantastic! Teachers kept him engaged and he maintained an "A & B" average. The school board did a reshuffle of students because numerous schools were closed due to budegt issues. He was transfered to Lake Contrary Elem. His grades took a nose dive to "C,D&F"! We appealed the transfer and finally got him back to Hyde for "6th" grade. Now he is strugling to get his grades back up. The teachers and principal at Hyde are working very hard with us (the parents) and our son. As far as I am concerned, Hyde is fantastic! They care about the students and work hard with the parents to help the children to excel. As far as we are concerned Hyde is the best school on the south side of St Joseph for Elementarty students!

Before my daughter went to Hyde she had "ok" grades now she is pulling in A-B honor rolls. I love the principal, she really takes care of biz!!
