My son attended St. Peter School from K - 7th. It is a great school! Very caring, professional teachers who really care about your child and their education. The principle works so very hard to make it better and better. Now that we are at a different Catholic school (out of state) we realize just how wonderful St. Peter school really is. Higher parent involvement would help but I think that is the same just about everywhere. Parents are so busy now days.

We absolutely love Saint Peter School! It has such a nurturing environment. Even though my children are in younger grades, we are always surprised to see how the older grade children know them by name and are so encouraging to them. We are so happy that we chose this school. If you are looking for loving, academic environment for your kids, I would definently check out the school.

We are new to the area and had to change schools after one year, which was very hard. All of my children are now excelling here. Children are held to a high standard of politeness and moral character. In February, a new study reported (google it) Catholic high school students out performed public students across the board and that starts in grade school! Choose wisely! St. Peter is a Blue Ribbon School and has excellent teachers, facilities - excellent computer lab, smart boards, incredible art, even the PE is wonderful. Come for a tour to see! The school is very affordable and is supported by all the parents. We have attended 4 schools with moves and this is an excellent program. Many new families are joining St. Peter next year! It is a jewel of a school with a great, strict and loving principal - one that has listened to any comments I have had. She knows every student by name and wonders where they are when they are absent. That is rare! Go Bulldogs! God Bless St. Peter!

I don't know of any public schools with only 12 -14 kids per class. St. Peter Catholic School has been a wonderful experience for our family and we would recommend it to anyone and we look forward to the many years ahead our family will have with this school and Parish. It is Christ centered and everyone cares about all the kids, not just their own.

My step-daughter is currently attending this school, and it will be her last year there. For being a private school, her class size is far larger than it should be, at 23 kids in a 2nd grade class. The average class sizes for area public schools are 11-14 kids. The 2nd grade teacher is fantastic, but even the best teacher can't teach when the class size is twice as large as it should be. St Peter also doesn't have near the resources that a public school, or larger more capable private school, does. I would not recommend this school if you want a better learning experience.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
