The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to keep the parents involved. Ellison has a fantastic PTA and the slightly smaller class size makes it one of the best schools in town!
I love the way that the entire staff is so involved with our children. It's a close knit little school that seems to really love their students. I am proud to say that my children go to Bessie Ellison.
This is without a doubt the best elementary school in the district. The teachers truly care about their students, the staff is exceptional, and the parent involvement is high. The students at Bessie Ellison are truly educated beyond the basics and are well-prepared for all secondary and higher education pursuits when they leave.
Ellison School is probably one of the best schools in the whole district. The best in Teacher Student relations, and students more civilized and appear to get along.
