My son went to this school. He was not an easy student. Rather than teach my son they preferred to let him set for the remainder of the year, 'this way maybe it would be easier for him when he had to repeat the class the next year.' I pulled him out and put him in private school. He was reading with in a month. I think this school is bad and is only for the easy student. When it comes to the child that is a challenge they choose to ignore them. The principal will back up his teachers as being professional and knowing your child better than you do. I know my child well and have gone through all of the hearing and speech difficulties with him. They were wrong and refuse to see the other side. Poor school for any child that needs assistance.

I have to agree with the other parents. I love this school. After transferring from San Diego, where the classes were much larger, my son is in a first grade class of fifteen kids. His teacher is so kind and organized. My son is just doing fantastic academically. I am just thrilled with the teachers and the school's environment. I highly recommend this school.

Both of my sons attend John Glenn and I love it! I especially love the 'Kindness is Contagious' assemblies. The school really focuses on child character and responsibility. My oldest son's speech problem was even recognized in kindergarten. He is now finishing up the first grade and has made major strides. Patty, the speech teacher, is so sweet and very patient. Mr. Vanderwerken, the principal, always greets the children, and parents with a firm handshake and a smile. I couldn't imagine taking my children anywhere else. Finally, a school that teaches our children ethics, morals, and education, all at the same time!!

I would highly Reccomend John Glenn Elementary. I went to school there and my child went to school there. The teachers are awsome and work well with the Children.
