I can't say enough good things about this school. If you're looking for a great place to send your child(ren), Hope Lutheran is it. The teachers are all wonderful and dedicated. There is a great hot lunch program, and a latchkey program available for before and after school. The small class sizes allow for more one-on-one with the students than larger schools have, and ensures that no child is "pushed along."
I love Hope Lutheran School for lots of reasons. The foremost reason being that my children love going to school everyday. They are learning so many things, and are enjoying the school experience. Classes are small, so they get a lot of personal attention. The teachers are wonderful with the children. They give just the right amount of discipline and encouragement. There a is mutual respect between the student and teacher at Hope. The parents are all really nice and accepting, and we have felt right at home at Hope from the moment we walked through the doors. Hope Lutheran has been a perfect match for our family!
This school is devoted to teaching our children. The small classrooms provide the one on one some children require. The teachers are loving and care about each and every student. My nieces love going to school and learning.
Hope is a great school, with great teachers. Not only are the teachers very observant, they offer suggestions on different study practices. The teachers are always willing to meet with the parents whenever there is a concern with the child's learning level. Which is why when I was a student at Hope, I made the decision that when I had children they would also attend Hope.
Hope is an exceptional academic experience. From the minute you walk in, you know your children are the most important thing. With incredibly caring staff and small class sizes, children receive an amazing amount of personal attention. Teachers can tailor to the learning styles of their students, giving extra assistance to those who are behind, and enrichment activities for those who are ahead. Title I support, band program and hot lunch are available during the school day. Hope offers a number of extra-curricular activities. Sports teams are tough to put together because of small enrollment, but when they have enough interest they offer cross country, soccer, volleyball and basketball. There is a children s choir, an after-school instrumental music program, chess club, and computer lab. Throughout the year there are several family activities as well. There is heavy parental involvement and a strong sense of community. Hope is a great school.
This school is wonderful! My children love coming to school. The teachers treat the children as if they were there own.
What a great school! Small class sizes, truly caring and invested staff, wonderful principal. Most of the teachers have advanced degrees, and it's easy to see they love what they do for a living. A true neighborhood school; most of the kids live within a mile or so of each other. Parents are tight-knit and friendly. My son loves going to school. Can't say enough about Hope!
This school is the greatest. The teachers are approachable, and responsive. The principal is a breath of fresh air.The school runs on common sense. It is all about the kids and what they need to learn best.We have been to several schools and this is the best I have seen. Safety is of utmost concern. The children are allowed in before school starts to settle in and work quietly, so they will be ready to start the day. In middle school, the teachers move from class to class, instead of the students, saving valuable time.Parents are kept in the loop by secure internet grade posting. A hot lunch is served with the money kept on account.Discipline is fair and consistant,so class runs smoothly. Parents are very friendly to new families. My kids who have special needs do very well, as the staff are very well trained. Great school !
This school is great with their children. I never have to push my child to go to school everyday, he absolutely loves school. He is in first grade this year. This is his second year going to Hope. The teachers, principal and the pastor are all wonderful. His grades are good because the teachers take time to teach and make sure the child is understanding what is being taught. Over all I would rate this school as an A+.
