Rossman School is preparing my children acdemcially for the future as well as emphasizing the importance of being kind, responsible people. Their JK program is fantastic, with caring teachers who teach phonics and beginning math skills as well as leading the children in their study of Master artists such as Van Gogh and Matisse. Excellence continues in SK up through sixth grade, including specialty areas such as science and social studies. My children absolutely love going to school and I feel confident in our decision to send them to Rossman; it is more than an elementary school, it is a community.

Rossman has provided an excellent education for our daughter. She has been given educational and emotional support beyond our expectations. Rossman's faculty and staff truly provide a community that feels like family and models all the best character traits we could possibly hope for in addition to academically challenging her to full potential.

Rossman School has exceeded my expectations in the 4 years our children have been enrolled. We visited all the private elementary schools in the area when we considering enrolling our oldest. We immediately felt so comfortable with the faculty, administration and parents at Rossman. Everyone was so encouraging and so happy! Clearly the academics were excellent and we were really drawn to the character building emphasis in the curriculum. Everyday we are reminded in someway that we made the correct decision. Our children absolutely love going to school. Recently our son said he was actually disappointed that it was Saturday and there was no class. I am continually impressed how well all the teachers know the students. Even the faculty in grades above our children know them, and well beyond just recalling their names. This creates a very supportive environment. The expectations of the children academically are high, and we've only made it to second grade. Nightly homework, math tests, spelling tests, daily grammar tests, and geography tests have kept her (and us) busy. It has been worth it to see her succeed and learn to love the learning process and put forth such effort.

I have one current student and one graduate from Rossman. It goes without saying that Rossman provides an excellent academic program and above par preparation for secondary school. My daughter is now in high school and I can say unequivocally that she was better prepared for secondary school (or at least as prepared) than any of her peers. More remarkable is the school's emphasis on character development. Kindness, respect, honesty, and responsibility are not empty phrases; they really are values that the students absorb and demonstrate. Again, I see a real difference between my daughter and her peers at her current secondary school. In addition, from the earliest grades, the school encourages the kids to take on public speaking roles, but always in a nurturing environment that allows them to develop confidence in their own abilities. From poetry recitals in First Grade, regular student participation at Monday Morning gatherings, singing solo at the Holiday programs, and much more, students are given an endless array of oportunities, some more subtle than others, to put themselves in front of an audience and develop as public speakers.

Rossman School has fulfilled every expectation we have ever had in education. The teachers have gone above and beyond to address every concern of every family. We are impressed by the encouragement and support of all faculty that helps each student keep up with, and enjoy the academic rigor. The children are truly set up for success in future education, no matter where they go. I grew up in St. Louis and am very familiar with most competitive schools in the area. I would not send my children anywhere else.

With strong academics and a family atmosphere, Rossman has provided our children with not only an excellent education, but also a nurturing environment . Rossman's excellent educators teach their students to be the best they can be. Strong study habits are formed at a very early age, and by the time the children graduate, they are more than ready to tackle what is ahead of them in Secondary School. It's been a great experience for all three of our children.

We are so thankful to be part of the Rossman School Community. Rossman is truly a happy and energetic place. The environment and excellent staff contribute to a very positive culture for learning. The best reinforcement for our decision to send our children to Rossman has been their desire to ensure that the secondary school that they select must also make learning fun!!

Rossman School offers a fantastic combination of challenging academics in a nurturing environment. The faculty and staff truly care for the children and teach them skills they will carry with them throughout their lifetime. I am always amazed at how much knowledge my two girls gain each year and know that they will be solidly prepared for secondary school.

The oldest of our three kids started rossman this year and we couldn't feel better about our choice. The teachers and staff have been so welcoming and caring. There is great communication and our son gets plenty of individualized attention. The work he brings home each day illustrates how much he is learning and he takes great pride in that. We are thrilled to be sending our daughter next year as well.

After the initial visit to Rossman, I knew immediately the school was the right match for our family. This was where I wanted our children to attend school. When touring the school I remember vividly how impressed I was with the children. Every child that I approached seemed happy, engaged, polite and enthusiastic about learning. The atmosphere was extremely positive and the cirriculum seemed challenging. Our children have been at Rossman for four years. Honestly, I can say that Rossman is a great school! There has never been a day that my children have not looked forward to going to school. I love that Rossman not only teaches discipline in academics, but also focuses on character development. When I drop my children off at school each morning, I am reassured that the same values taught at home are the same values demonstrated at school. Often, I refer to Rossman as the land of 120%. By this I mean that everyone in this school gives 120% of themselves (students, teachers, parents). Everyone here works together to achieve one common goal....what is best for our children. As a family we are proud to be a part of the Rossman Family!!

Rossman school has a wonderful group of teachers and faculty that care about every child as an individual. Each morning, the students are greeted at the door by a faculty member, which can also be the Head of School with a smile and a hug. Not only does the school have an excellent academic record, it also teaches the children moral values and compassion for each other, which is important in school and out. At lunch, the teachers sit with the children at the tables and engage in conversation. I really enjoy the family atmosphere and it is evident each day throughout the school that the children do too!

My kids love Rossman School, and it's providing a foundation for my future learners. I was worried about the recent turnovers, but I feel that change can be good.

Expensive but provides a solid education. There has been increased faculty and staff turnover in recent years, though. There has also been a greater emphasis placed on fund-raising from parents.

Rossman School is the best elementary around. There is no comparison. Kids have fun learning and turn out to be excellent people.

Rossman provides an excellent balance of academics and character-building that our child's former elementary school tried to provide but fell quite short of delivering to its many students. We're delighted we made the switch, and wish we'd been aware of this fantastic school sooner!
