Expensive but provides a solid education. There has been increased faculty and staff turnover in recent years, though. There has also been a greater emphasis placed on fund-raising from parents.

Rossman School is the best elementary around. There is no comparison. Kids have fun learning and turn out to be excellent people.

Rossman provides an excellent balance of academics and character-building that our child's former elementary school tried to provide but fell quite short of delivering to its many students. We're delighted we made the switch, and wish we'd been aware of this fantastic school sooner!

We have one child who has graduated from Rossman and two currently at Rossman. It is a wonderful school. It so smartly combines a warm nurturing environment with a strong academic program. Our oldest child was very well prepared for secondary school. He gained organizational and study skills at Rossman that are serving him well in his current school. In addition to the strong academic program, Rossman does a fabulous job at building confidence in the children. The staff and faculty freely give verbal encouragement but also make it clear to the children that they expect the best from each of them. In turn the children can take credit for their accomplishments. The children are also held to a high standard with regard to character. They are taught from the young Junior Kindergarten level through sixth grade the importance of the Rossman Rules: respect, responsibility, honesty and kindness. The children at Rossman are very nice to each other and accepting of differences. We believe the foundation that Rossman provides will allow our children the spring board to do well in and out of school for the rest of their lives.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
