I think this school offers a lot of choices to students. They are the only school that gives 8 classes to help the students to accumlate credits quick. the only thing is that i have a problem with parent portal to keep up with my childrens grades and attendance.

The school talks a good game but does not "walk the walk". Students needing no help will be fine but those kids will be fine at any school. The special ed dept has declined tremendously over the last 4 years. The special ed staff appears second class to the regular class room teachers and do not appear to involve themselves as much in the learning of the students they are being paid to support. They are more like teachers aides for the general teachers doing menial and routine tasks while sitting back and allowing their own students to flounder. They do not appear cohesive or take pride in their jobs. The only exception is the English dept. The school itself spends more time putting IEPs together and not no time and follow up in implementing the IEP. They have to be reminded frequently and come up with excuse after excuse as to why they can't do something or why it is the child's fault for not reminding them. The school is a generally safe environment but it lacks in educational presence for the C and below student to grow.

The teachers there for the most part are caring and understanding. They try to encourage their students to achieve at their highest! They have taught my daughter a lot!
