St. Clement of Rome School2

St. Clement offers a small community school. Academics are geared towards the average student. There are not many additional resources for gifted or special needs students. Instructional style is traditional without many newer methods of teaching or dynamic classroom activities. The religious education is fair, in that they cover religious topics and attend mass weekly. However, there are not service opportunities for the majority of the student body, only opportunities to donate goods and money. The hypocrisy of many of the families in terms of their respect for and adherence to Catholic teaching, makes the religious aspect of the school dubious in that the kids are seeing lots of examples of un-Christian behavior and open disregard for Catholic principles on a regular basis. The school may be powerless to change this, as it is the product of the community it resides in and the culture we live in. Parents would do well to take the religious education of their children in their own hands in this environment to counter the many outside influences to the detriment of good character development.
St. Clement of Rome School is a diverse and well-rounded education for those in K-8. The majority of grade levels have two classes, so there are plenty of students who make up the general student body of the school. The instructors are engaging, utilizing various resources to inspire the children to think beyond their textbooks. There are many extracurricular activities available from Girl/Boy Scouts to athletics and class plays.
I think it is a school that babies the children and is not fair from the teaching aspect. Therefore St. Clement of Rome school I personally think is a bad school. It is unfair and the academics are horrible.
St. Clement is a great school! the parents help out at lunch, recess, and other activities. They are very involved in arts, sports, and music. They don't have a band but, do have a great choir. They have the sports volleyball, soccer, basketball, and baseball for boys. They teach children discipline and respect which is very important. The teachers are very nice and keep up with all the school work that needs to be done. if there is a test the next day they won't give homework so the children can study extra hard.
