If you value exclusivity and want to support controlling alums, VDOH is the perfect place for you. If you value diversity, true community thought and creativity and an equally good education, VDOH is not for you.
Due to the constant change of administration it is impossible to have any continuity. Once a contract is signed Villa will not carry through with it's promises to the child/parent. They do not abide by their own handbook. Children with disabilities are not properly cared for by filling out 504 plans, training teachers for emergencies, and letting the teachers know when a child has a serious illness. Middle school curriculum was average at best. For the cost of the school is not worth the money. Due to separation of church and state the school can do whatever it wants or does not want. There is no entity to govern the school. Villa takes full advantage of this fact. Both of my girls were pulled out and we were so disappointed.
