Lutheran High School Of St Charles County5

My daughter just finished semester 1 and so far Lutheran High has lived up to its reputation of a top college prep school in the St. Louis area. She likes the small class sizes and block system and the course material is challenging. As a parent, I like that the students take the ACT exam each year to assess progress in their learning and preparation for college. I would like to see a few more AP classes offered.
This school was a huge disappointment. Too many of the staff and students condoned bully behavior by both staff and students. The atmosphere was cold and unfeeling instead of warm and helpful as you would expect in a Christian school that should be following an example of Christ's love, acceptance and compassion for all.
A great school that will provide top-notch academics in conjunction with emerging athletic and fine arts programs. Friendly people, small class sizes, iPads, and other technology enrich the student experience immensely.
This is our first year here, but absolutely no dissappoinments to be had. The size of the school and number of students is very nice and lends to a community feeling. The teachers really seem to enjoy teaching and have great passion towards working with the kids. They offer a great range of extracirricular activities sports and otherwise. The block sytem of classes seems very common sense and I feel a greater understanding of the subject is being grasped because of it. The technology is wonderful-all the kids have an ipad and best of all the staff has a total grasp of how to best utilize it. I think we made a great choice with this school.
