I've attended Thayer senior high for the last 6 years (7-12) and Thayer Elementary my first 8 years (preschool and kindergarten through 6th). As much as I dislike some of my class mates, you couldn't ask for a better teaching staff. You've never seen such dedicated, and hard-working people. Each one of them truly care about each individual who walks through that door and into their classroom. I graduate May 17th and I can honestly say that while I may not miss some of my classmates, i will miss the teachers who made me who I am today.

I have three children in the Thayer school district. I have found that the school likes to focus on sports and athletes more that academics. My kids have come home from school numerous times telling me about the newly released movies that they watched in class. Class time should be spent on academics.

this school is one of the best in the state of missouri. the teachers there know how to be patient with the students and they don't yell at the children who have behavior problems.
