Troy Buchanan High School

I have 3 kids in this School District and they love it and are happy. I would recommend the school to parents that are looking in the area. I have 3 teachers in my family one being a asst superindent in another school district and they all say it;s a great school.

I'm a a current 10th grader in TBHS. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone I mean it has great students in it. But the teachers performances are terrible. Most of the Teachers of this school are not interactive with some students. But if the students play sports they get the most attention from the teachers. Teachers should try to help other students as well.

I do not recommend this school to anyone who is moving to Troy. My son is a junior there. It has been a struggle sense we moved to Troy. His grades where we came from were wonderful (honor roll). I have learned that unless you are from a influental family in the community, or your child plays sports, then your child will not get the same education. Its over crowed, the teachers are not in contact with the parents, and if you request contact it will only be during school hours! One principal is as rude to parents as she/he is to students.

i think this a great school my son is a senior and plays on the football and basketball team. this is a great school for your children

I went to this school and do not recommend it. Not only is it over crowded but the teachers only care about the students of influental familys of the community. Students of low income familys are ignored. Students that don't play sports, for most of the teachers coach or is the head of school groups or organizations are treated differently and without care.

I went to school at TBHS from 03 to 07. My whole highschool career was wonderful. I would like to thank all the teachers', staff, and my fellow classmates. It was a wonderful 4 years, and in my sophmore year, when I came down with a brain tumor, everyone there supported me. The clubs did fundraisers for me, and friends would come out to Children's Hospital to visit me. It meant a lot to me and my family. By now if you know my story, i'm sure you know who I am. My name is Cassie Glebavicius, and I graduated last year. Yes, I miss teachers', being able to chat with the lunch ladies, and of course, all my friends, and I will never forget how TBHS came together for me when I was sick, and helped myself, and my family out, ever so much! I am currently a student @ TBHS and this school is wonderful its easy to fit in with the students and get along wih the teachers. I would recommend anyone to come to this school.

Troy is a fantastic school. I am not a parent, but I am a student, and I love the entire high school experience here. There are some really fantastic teachers here, and some of them have changed my entire outlook on life. I would reccomend this school to any parent or student. The quality of education is among the best in the state and the extracirricular activities are first-rate. I have really grown so much as a person because of the relationships I have built with some of my teachers. I will always hold a special place in my heart.

I am not a parent either, but i am a student and i love this school and the whole district. I have went to other schools and since coming to troy i wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I love it here, the students are great, teachers are very educated and professional, and Principals act like they are you best friend. I wouldn't pick anywhere else. The thing that is really cool about TBHS is not only the outstanding accademic opportunities but also the extracuricular activities. We have more sports and clubs then anyother school around us so any teenager has a chance to become more active in our school. If you are thinking about sending your child to TBHS dont hesitate, just do it, you will be gratefull. Student (sophomore) class of '08.

Although I am not a parent; I do attend Troy Buchanan High School, and I believe TBHS is an outstanding school and excellent place to receive an education. I would also like to add that the teachers are uderstanding and kind. So thank you for making my High School Career one of the best experiences of my life.

i recommend this school for anyone no matterwhat. they are there for the kids and especially handicapped kids.it is a very good school and they take good care of the students.

I recommend anyone to this high school. The teachers are fantastic and the other staff members are also ready to help at a drop of a hat. My child has made great improvments since he has attended the school.
