Winfield Intermediate School

My son attends this school and ha for the past 2 years. The principal at this school is BY FAR better than the one at Winfield Primary. The office staff is very helpful, despite another review. The teachers are very caring and concerned about their students. The only concern I have had is certain students who continue to behave in a certain way and aren't seeming to be disciplined.

Students talk back to the teachers and nothing is being done aboutit. That's why I had to pull my kids from this school. Mind you this only third graders. Hate to seem them by high school.

I used to go to this school when I was younger, back then it didn't matter much what I thought about this school. Today my children go to this school, and I am very impressed with the teachers. The attention my kids get is always positive. The problem I have is with the office staff being slow to help. I would really appreciate being able to go up and get my kids after school without being hit by a bus, for there is nowhere to park. When asked why the bus drivers can't park their personal vehicles and busses in a perfectly good, open parking lot, I was told that they can't because children will mess with the busses if they are not close to the bus shed. Since then they have parked 3 back there, and left them.
