Very positive school climate! Teachers go the extra mile for kids. I am so happy that my children are in Wright City

The school does not encourage the children to do more than is required, like writting in pen or cursive. They no longer have spelling tests or book reports. How are our children supposed to want to achieve better in life when teachers are just trying to get the easy way out and not correct homework? This is the worst school I have sent my child to. I have known many of the kids in my childs class that have moved to get away from this school. I think that is saying alot.

Excellent school with great staff. We are sad to see the principal retire, but are excited about the new principal who is coming from another district. We are proud to be a WC family!

It's funny to hear all the negative comments. Just last year, wc elementary was selected as a gold star school. This is given to some 15 schools out of the entire state of missouri and wc was one of them. It's interesting that people would post about this school when they have received such an honor. I don't see any of the other school districts with that!

My son started Kindergarten in this school and we both hated it! When we moved to Warren County school district, 2 months into the school year, my son was already so far behind the other kids in his class that he still has not been able to catch up now that he has began 1st grade, at the new school we have had to do home schooling on top of the regular school work, just to keep him at the level required. I would strongly advise you not to move to this district if at all possible, and I am one of MANY parents that feels this way!

Wright City is a good school for being in a small town. My daughter has had excellent teachers, who care about their pupils, a great gifted program. Smaller classroom size's. Ive been very pleased with the school district so far.

This is the worst school ever. They have no idea how to handle the handicapped children. They fail the children when there are doc. notes every missed day. Refuse to offer and special plans for children with disabilities,ex.iep or 504. Then when they meet with the parents and the parents ask for this help they tell them that because the child doesnt have a learning disability that they dont qualify for either program. Refuse to help with any transportation for said child.
