LCA is a awesome school. My daughter went there for 3 years and graduated a year ago. While attending there, she made close friends, got a Godly education and loved and highly respected the awesome teachers. I don't know if I would call LCA a "school" or a "family". : )

When we found LCA, it was an answer to prayer. We fervently believe in Christian education. At LCA, there is no such thing as a cookie cutter education. The educations our children receive are tailored to them. LCA teachers are THE most dedicated educators I have ever met. The class size is smaller and the friendships are bigger. No student is lost in the crowd here. Sportsmanship is encouraged by the dedicated coaches. Prayer is rampant. My children have a sincere love for their teachers. Our son just graduated from LCA in 2012. He is now attending Rankin Technical College. His creative abilities were constantly encouraged at LCA. Our oldest daughter graduates in 2013. When she played basketball for the first time, she got a little overwhelmed with schoolwork & her teachers helped her catch up. Our youngest daughter graduates in 2015. When being a teenager is not easy, there are godly women who listen & encourage our children. LCA sets an example for us to be the salt and light of the world. It calls us to a higher standard. Those high expectations help our children develop integrity and character as well as a love for learning and a rock solid education.

The school has become a great place. My children have done excellent academically and Spiritually at LCA. I would recommend the school to anyone looking to reinforce Godly principles morals.

We love this school!! We have homeschooled in the past and attended one other Christian School and our children are here to stay through to graduation - God willing. The teachers and the staff here are truly wonderful and caring people. Our children are above most of their public school peers in academics. I have read the review about the school not being accredited and this will make no difference on getting into college. We know many children who have been homeschooled or graduated from another non-accredited Christian School that have gone on to college with no problem. Colleges are interested in SAT/ACT scores and those attending LCA will certainly be prepared for those tests. Keep up the good work LCA!!

LCA is an amazing Christian school that I would highly recommend. This school focuses on excellence in every area. Our children are taught how to apply the Bible in everyday life. It is so nice to have everything that we are teaching them at home reinforced at school.

There is not enough good things I can say about this school. My children have been attending for several years. When they started this school some of them were not at grade level,(thank you public school). The educators worked hard and compassionately to bring success! There are several electives and clubs offered as well as a great basketball team! School spirit is abounding as well as the love and true compassion of a great team of teachers! This school has been just what we needed.

Horrible school! I graduated from there! I recently have tryed doing things with my diploma only to find out that it is not accredited. I have no High School Diploma but only a frowned upon GED... I would not have graduated from there or wasted my parents money if I would have known this!

Terrible school. Non-accredited and extremely lacking in many areas. Many students have to take remedial college classes after leaving.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
