About the Tests
- In 2010-2011 Alaska used the High School Graduation Qualifying Examination (HSGQE) to test students in grade 10 in reading, writing and math.
- The HSGQE is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined by the state of Alaska.
