About the Tests
In 2010-2011 Michigan used the Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in math, reading and writing; in grades 5 and 8 in science; and in grades 6 and 9 in social studies.
The MEAP is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Michigan.
The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.

About the Tests

The MME is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Michigan.
The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
This school was given a Composite Grade of "C" by the Michigan Department of Education in 2007-2008.

Education YES! Grades are based on student performance on the Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) and Michigan Merit Examination (MME), whether performance is improving or declining, and the school's self-rating on Indicators of School Performance.
