My four children have gone to Bitterroot Elementary, you won't find a finer school or staff.

Bitterroot School is a center for families and neighbors from the community to gather and be a part of the students learning. Everyone is involved. It is truely a whole 'village' raising the children.

So far, I've experienced the best in teachers coming together to make sure my child succeeds.

The primary grade teachers at Bitterroot seem to have a strong background in reading and literacy. Both of my children have excelled in reading and really enjoy the literary experiences they have had at Bitterroot. I am happy to see that writing is such an integrated part of the school day as well. The teachers have also been patient and understanding when it comes to differences in student learning and attention abilities. My sons kindergarten teacher gave him the extra attention he needed and the encouragement to become more independent. Keep up the good work Bitterroot!
