My child has had a wonderful experience at Emerson Elementary School. He is in the 2nd Grade and all of his teachers have been excellent. If our son has any concerns they have been immediately addressed. An example of this would be: He is very afraid of Halloween costumes. The teachers have made sure that our son has felt safe and comfortable in every situation. Along with this we are notified when he receives an award or is polite in school. His current teacher goes above and beyond her duties by making the students always enjoy school while also thriving in the learning process. She teaches them to have a global perspective and my husband and I commend her for all of the hard work and dedication she puts in to teaching her kids. Our daughter will be attending Kindergarten in the fall and has Long QT syndrome; a heart condition. The counselor at Emerson has set up meetings and made the process easy for us and our daughter to have an AED and others though out the school system. The is a great burden that has been lifted off of us that makes us feel much more safe when we send her to school. Thank you for everything.
The secretary at this school and principle are two of the rudest people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Unfortunately, we haven't been here long enough to put up a fight toward the apparent nepotism and ego influencing their behavior...and mouths!
