As a recent graduate of CFHS I have found CFHS to be a school full of many great teachers who know how to teach their classes well enough for the students to understand and be able to reuse the information provided to them in the real world. I have also encountered a few teachers who have no understanding of each students different ideas about a subject. It is hard for a student to be part of the school when there seems to be a lack of funding or fundraisers for the academic activities. CFHS has some amazing students attending classes and tring to be the best they can, the community should be proud of every one. Most of all I feel like more community support is needed with the recent budget cuts. It is the future scientist, NASA engineers, and doctors we are raising in this community they need our full support.

I was not a parent of a student here but a student and I graduated in 2002 I think this is a very nice school with a lot of great teachers.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Montana used the Criterion-Referenced Test (CRT) to assess students in grades 3 though 8 and 10 in reading and math and in grades 4, 8, and 10 in science. The CRT is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Montana. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.
