The Eastgate school has exceptional Teachers and staff. My granddaughters have both gone through the Eastgate School and were very well prepared to move on to the next grade level and transitioned well into the Radley School without a problem. The teachers are definitely there for the students. The principal is great and the kids love him. The principal is involved with the kids and knows them by name. All of them, not just the needy ones.

They are really good at getting the kids ready for the next grade level. All of the teachers are very compassionate and understanding with all of the children.

The school staff (teachers, principles, etc) are exceptional. The only problems we have encountered were where teachers had to over-concentrate on one student all year to keep him/her up with the others (they could use more teacher's aids). Overall the teachers are there becuaes they care and do their jobs well.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
