My child is in kindergarten this year and I just love this school! He had a lot of trouble getting adjusted, but Mrs. Forder and principal, Mr. Salonen were always available to give support and he is now the head of his class for math and reading at a beginning second grade level! This school, the teachers and its' loving environment are top notch!
My son is a special needs child and has found people that are capable and compassionate to him and his needs. The PTA is active, and the students always seem in high morale.
Great School starting from the teachers and going up to the Principal Bill Salonen. Both of my childred received excellent educations at Morningside. Both kids score within the top 10 percent of the nation each year in their Iowa Basics. Allows parents to be extremely involved in their childrens education.
