My son was a fairly solid 'B' student in elementary, but he really struggled both socially and academically there. This is his second year at NMS and he is excelling (straight 'A's' every quarter) and socially he is doing so much better.
I go to North & i love it... it was an open classroom school, but they worked on it and fixed it to make most rooms closed in. The teachers are really nice at North, and ths students are exceptionally nice and courtious.
North has the open classroom atmosphere, which in some cases can be a hard place to concentrate for some students. The teachers do not communicate with parents which has been proven to aid student success.
North is a middle of the road school. Offering some extra accedemic programs but can't seem to reach the success of its rival Paris Middle School.
