HIS is a great place to work and learn. It brings together many cultures and histories. The staff is wonderful at working together and showing the students that they care.
I have, overall, been pleased with Hardin Intermediate Schools. They seem to have a sincere desire to help my children learn and have gone the extra mile to reach out and offer specialized help, when needed. They seem to want to improve continually, and that is always a good sign. They do need to work on giving out candy as rewards, however, and find a substitue that is not as damaging to the child. I also believe that more physical education would be an asset to this and every school since childhood obesity is so high. I will continue to advocate for this change in the upcoming years to whichever school my children graduate. They seem to work hard to eliminate prejudicial treatment of the students, and staff requirements seem to follow suit regardless of race. They have an excellent extra-curricular program, also.
