If you look at other schools of this size you will see that there are many more schools who have troubles beyond what Hardin does. although it does lack any type of gifted and talented program, and it does tend to teach to the middle, allegations that good students are held back are ludicrous. Over all it is as good as the effort the student is willing to put into it. It could be a great school if the administration would support the efforts of those teachers who really are concerned about the students. Unfortunately, it appears the complacent teachers set the curriculum, and those that are more of a detriment are allowed to remain because it appears the administration do not want to take the effort to remove them. Good teachers are there and if a student seeks them out they can make the best of their experience at Hardin. Parents need to do their home work to and inform themselves of the right and wrong of this school. Work to change it rather than just complain.
