HHS is a great school to attend. Students are friendly and school spirit is off the chain! Teachers are ok (there are some bad really bad ones). However, the principle is great and really knows what he is doing. HHS students are proud to be bengals and show their colors with pride. It is a better high school that Capital High (opposing high school) where diversity is even less than HHS and student and parent involvement is extremely low

HHS is a welcoming school with teachers who want their students to suceed, even when on ocasion, their teaching skills leave somthing to be desired. 98% of the time however HHS is a great school to attend, if a little boring at times. the one problem i see is money mangement, for example the caffiteria doesn't need to be re-done, but the art department along with others could use some extra money.

Helena High School Is a friendly school, but all together way too old fashioned. The teachers are not good on the whole. It is unusual if you get a good teacher. I do, however, like the new principal. He is good with the students and is making good changes. Time is wasted a lot, and discipline isn't amazing. But, it's a public school, so many of them are not going to be very good. Extra Curricular activities are fairly good with the school. There isn't much parent involvement however.

The student population at Helena High is very welcoming and worries about the safety of others. The teachers are all great and give students, like myself, a nuturing environment to work in and allow students to have fun learning. The sports programs are extravagant and the students, staff, and principals do their job to create this wonderful top rated school. Helena High is a great place to learn.

Great learning environment, nurturing, very accepting student population. The teachers here are very imaginative and for the most part love their job and wish for kids to succeed. Choose Gretchen Edelen for English. You won t regret this choice.
