If you're not looking forward to all the weirdness of public schooling, you have to check this awesome place out. Our daughter was getting upset at Homestart and the other kids not being very nice, the food not being good etc. We visited MCS after one of their teachers came to a Reiki-Share I was hosting and described her work. When we visited, our daughter got to tour each classroom (and join in with the other kids), at the last classroom she got to sit in with them on a craft and immediately the other kids said "Come sit with us Sparrow" and one little boy said "I love you Sparrow", and in turn every kid at the table repeated his words. Talk about feeling welcome! They had tuition-assistance and we put her in 2 days a week with our tax return and it has been amazing every day since! I just got back from parent/teacher conference and she REALLY Cared and observed where Sparrow could grow the most and how she was going to address those needs. AMAZING truly wonderful!
Great caring progressive school where children learn more than to read and write, they learn to respect others and specially themselves.
