100 years old and still going strong, Lowell is a great old building , designed by architect A.J. Gibson, which needs some sprucing up. It will be worth it--Lowell is the center of a gutsy, creative community struggling to survive in this economy.
The parents in this schools area seem very disengaged. This is one of the poorest areas and the stresses on the demographic are apparent in the students. I has made it very hard to get a good education here.
