Having attended this school myself from my kinder to senior year and now having my own children attend has been a blessing. Every school has it's problems and every parent/student has their complaints. This is a small community and knowing that these teachers know me and my children is enough for me to keep them here to graduate. My advice to parents with issues is to make them known in the system and continue to follow up until they are resolved. You can't complain about what you create...

I think Noxon is a good school with a couple acceptions. Noxon's Principal is always on a power trip and that seems to bother a lot of the students. Another thing that seems to bother people is the lack of Math skills. It seems like there is always a new teacher because we can't hold onto one. The review below is right that the school is going downhill. I believe that that is due to the loss of the Amazing English Teacher that recently retired, and the loss of a teacher that made kids interested in Science and Math (Mr. P)

We have been at Noxon for a week. My child is in Kindergarten and I hope we will be here long enough to finish his senior year. The staff at Noxon is superb. Trust me, my child has been in 4 different schools so far. The staff is incredibly supportive. They have small teacher to student ratios, which I love. There seems to constantly be something going on at the school for the kids. So far I have seen a Geography bee and teachers actually challenging kids...but at the same time making it fun! I have been there I have been so impressed with the Kindergarten teacher. She has a great imagination and my child is coming home everyday excited about school! I just wish they had a website.

This school has gone completely downhill the last 5 or 6 years. The teachers don't care and seem to be onIy interested in their paycheck. It is so ridiculous and the administration is in denial.

This is a great school, the teachers actually challenge the students! I was amazed when I transfered schools! I love it at Noxon, and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!
