The superintendent is unprofessional. She has created hostile work environment for staff and teachers. Competent staff has quit. Good teachers are seeking new schools. Morale is low. School is sinking shop. My youngest is graduating thankfully.

I use to love to go to my school, but the past few years have been getting worse and worse. My favorite teachers (who have taught me so much, and they make things fun and exciting to learn) have been threatened to be or have been fired! The rules are outrageous and they makes school life terrible. I feel we are not allowed to do anything anymore. My school is not fun anymore, and the new replacement teachers make it so hard to learn because they are teaching a subject they have never taught before, and some of the students are struggling in all of the classes. Many of us feel both the students and the teachers have been treated unfairly with the new rules and crazy requirements. My school needs a big change, and I am not alone in this. There are many of us that feel the same way!

I think that even though my school is so far from really anywhere of importance the teachers and staff are wonderful and actually try to connect with the students. Granted there are only 63 students this year but they don't have to try and yet they do, and it makes me very happy. With a staff and faculty that makes courses difficult but still able to understand, athletics that are accessible to anyone, and really anything you could want to do here you can. I really do love my school and most of the kids there. The kids are actually very accepting though they don't appear it at first.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Montana used the Criterion-Referenced Test (CRT) to assess students in grades 3 though 8 and 10 in reading and math and in grades 4, 8, and 10 in science. The CRT is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Montana. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.
