School curriculum good, student : teacher ratio good for 8th graders. This year too many 7th graders. HORRID bullying problem--the past 2 years we have dealt w/ it. No longer. our 6th grader will not atend 2012-2013. The dean and principal are ineffective when it comes to discipline; they are fostering a culture of victimization; there are little consequences for bullies, and even slightly special need children(impulse control, ADHA, etc) have free reign to bully. Dean says it is up to the individual teachers to deal w/ discipline and therefore there is no consistency or consequences unless there is physical harm. Not just our son but others have had similiar issues and are leaving the school. Such a shame as we have praised BPS the past 7 years.

Great school. Amazing cirriculum, staff, and structure. Everyone gets along, and it is a fun middle school to be in.

The teachers communicate well. The children love attending school and there are plenty of activities to keep the students involved. A great place to prepare them for High School.

The school separates the 7th and 8th graders- teachers seem to really enjoy educating this age group..and the activities are awesome...something for everyone!!! So far, we love this school and staff.. front office is probably the nicest and most helpful group I have ever met...
