My daughter really enjoyed her experiences with her Kindergarten education. The teacher worked closely with her and with each of the students to make the experience enjoyable. The reading program that Southern uses is phenomenal. All of the children read at a better level than when they entered school in the Fall. The P.E. program is well liked. The students, including my clumsy daughter, felt that the teacher was very helpful to them in not pushing them to do more than they felt comfortable with. The music instructor is available from the High School and does a fantastic job with training even the Kindergartners in music. There are several elementary recitals all year long.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
