Responsive to parents' concerns is prompt.Teachers are friendly. The new principal is engaging. He manages pre-k - 12. This is one area I'd like to see changed. He is responsive to parental concerns, accepts feedback, & works w/ parents. The high school has had a 100% graduation rate for at least 10 years. The test scores are high. You can ask the school for them. The discipline method in the elementary school is consistent. There's +/- reinforcement, and realistic consequences. Teachers listen. Real science is taught. Non-Catholics are expected to learn & participate in religion classes, & attend weekly mass.Kids w/ speech challenges can meet w/a therapist from the public schools at Bergan. There's no busing available (except for school events.)The onsite after school care program is affordable, and managed by school staff. The playground is cool. K-12 are divided into houses. Each house is named for a saint. They do weekly activities, have competitions between houses, & complete service projects. The elementary school has a chess club. Computer lab is awesome. All of the classrooms use smart boards.
