LDN is like life, you get only what you put in. You have to challenege yourself or you'll go through highschool not learning any needed life/college skills. For such a small Northeast does have strong non-athletic extracurrirculars. (Speech, drama,FFA,band) (FBLA does little but end up on your resume. I was an officer.) Some teachers are great! (Mrs.Sharp and Mrs. Farrens and Kevin Anderson!) Some are inexpierenced. I suspect some choose teaching so they could coach. The principal is not very loved by students or many parents but despite everything most have no problems. Just once your onthe bad side your stuck. LDN is in a transition as many great teachers are nearing retirement. The classes are unexpectedly varied and liberal arts for a small, rural public hgihschool. I took ethnic-studies,economics,modern problems, business-law,entrepuernship. I currently go to school with many kids from chicago&stlouis (some from private-college-prep hs) & I am as prepared&capable as they are.
