Since we live less than 4 miles from the school (3.9 to be exact), we have to pay for busing to and from school. For some stupid reason we must have jobs and can't take our kids to and from school. This issue we have with the school is, that no one makes sure that the kids that ride the bus get on the bus, nor that the bus driver waits for the kids if they are a minute late getting out the door due to being held up by a teacher or just getting their stuff together. Per Chief busing Svc and their statement on the school's stance on the subject is, the kids are on there own and it's not their problem. What ever happened to a school bus driver and school that look out of the children?
I will have to admit, I think the kids seem to have a lot of homework. But, I'm not sure if that because they don't have time to get done at school -- no supervision on what they're doing at school in their free time, or it's just the norm?
