Year round school, review of previous material at beginning of school year takes very little time, great retention of material already covered. Administration is very strong, many teachers holding Master's degree or are working towards Master's degrees, several with multiple BS degrees. Every student receives training on MAC computer, and has access to their own MAC during school. Students learn to use several different software packages, and use online material in their coursework and homework. Extended school day from 8am to 3:30, with volunteer led enrichment program from 3:30 to 5:00, allowing students to experiment with different areas of interest, including Bridge Club, Chess Club, Tae Kwon Do, Tap Dance, Modern dance, board games, walking club, gardening club, Jr Achievement, all led by volunteers with passion for the subject.
