this is an excellent school. there is virtually no bulleying or cliques. the class sizes are excellent. although there arent many opportunities for extra-curricular activies, the activites they do have are very well supported. the only down side of this school is the principal. this is a small town school where your children will be supported no matter their interests.
As with any school, it is up to the student to work hard. The teachers are good, the school is willing to help. All students can succeed here, regardless or who they are.
My son is no longer at PHS. While there, it was who your parents were that determined your status in the school. Poor involvement from the principal. The band, speech and biological science teachers were outstanding. Would not send my children to this school if given a choice.
If you are a pushy parent with a lot of money, then this is the school for you!
wow am I glad my kids are done with that school. It is who you are and what your name is to get anywhere or get any support. Great teachers though!
