I graduated from Sargent and was a student from K-12. I loved it! The teachers and staff were always kind and knowledgeable. When I entered college I was very well prepared thanks to my education from Sargent Public High. The people genuinely care about the students. I could not disagree more with the posting from August. There are always disagreements when it comes to sports especially when your kid doesn't get to play as much as the parents think they should. As far as respect and students running wild....I find that laughable. Sargent Public is an excellent school with excellent staff, a very involved board and great kids with great potential.

Three of my children are currently in the school system and I couldn't be more pleased. The teachers are friendly and it is easy to find out how my kids are doing through the schools information system. They encourage the use of technology in academics in spite of local economic difficulty.

I have children that have been in and are currently in the school, and have nothing but praise for the staff and students. The staff is always very approachable when I have a concern, as well as the principal. My children have great friends and the students genuinely care for each other and take care of each other. I am so very happy for my children to be associated with this excellent school.

Very unprofessional. Students lack discipline and respect. Students who excel at sports are more important than those who do not take part in athletic activities. Teachers are very lazy with discipline, teaching, etc and let students run building. Recently new principal has made an attempt to improve, but that ship has sailed.
